Valentine Map DIY

I always have a hard time coming up with a good gift for my husband. He's one of those guys where if he wants something he gets it himself. But this year for Valentine's Day I was feeling a little crafty and thought I would make him something. Multiple times I have come across all of those maps that mark the location of the first place you met, your first date or where you got married and I thought this is something I could make myself! I googled and found a really cool map of our area. It was detailed enough that I could also find the chapel we got married in. I placed a little heart on the location, stuck it in a frame, and wrote a little message on the back. Easy as that!

I kept mine simple and small but I love the idea of finding an actual map for a larger size- do we even keep those in glove compartments any more? I have found some cool maps while out thrifting or maybe you'll find a cool one while googling like I did!

  • You can make a super sweet heart garland just like Cate with West Magnolia Charm did. This neutral color palette could work well after Valentine's Day and into the spring! @west_magnolia_charm
